Project Description
In February 2021, Ha Thanh completed the chemical-resistant rubber lining for an HCl tank (solution concentration: 18%, operating temperature: 65°C) at the Long Son Petrochemical Complex. Based on the tank’s technical specifications provided by the client, Ha Thanh’s team of experienced engineers promptly conducted a site survey and advised the client on suitable anti-corrosion solutions.
Rubber Application
The project utilized 4mm E-15 hard rubber (origin: OHJI-Japan), which offers excellent chemical resistance, withstands a maximum operating temperature of up to 95°C, and is suitable for direct on-site application. Additionally, OHJI Hard Rubber E-15 is also used for corrosion protection in equipment containing other chemicals such as H2SO4, NaOH, Cl2, and NaCl.
Project Success
Ha Thanh successfully completed the internal rubber lining for the tank and its accessories, covering a total area of over 230 m².
