Glass Flake Application

Glass Flake Application

Ha Thanh exclusively applies the technology, materials, and process techniques for glass flake lining from OHJI Japan, providing a full-package service from lining to complete project execution.

Glass flake mortar lining is a type of composite material coating composed of vinylester and novolac-based compounds, ceramic powder, combined with ultra-thin glass flake reinforcement, and thermosetting resins resistant to acids, alkalis, solvents, and gases.
This lining offers excellent resistance to chemicals, hot gases, and corrosion, providing optimal protection for equipment surfaces in harsh environments. Thanks to its special structure, the coating prevents the penetration of chemicals and water vapor, even as the lining wears thin over time.

  • Easy to apply – Cures easily at ambient temperature
  • Short application time – Easy to repair and maintain
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • High-temperature resistance – Up to 150℃ for gases and harsh environments
  • Saves on maintenance and repair costs
  • Reasonable price

Characteristics

  • ( 01 )

Excellent resistance to many types of acids

This coating has the ability to resist most types of acids, helping to protect equipment surfaces from corrosion.
  • ( 02 )

    Very low vapor permeability

The multi-layer structure of the coating helps prevent penetration, protecting the equipment surface.
  • ( 03 )

    Prevention of permeation

The coating creates a protective barrier, preventing the infiltration of water and chemicals.
  • ( 04 )

    Minimal loss during vulcanization

During the vulcanization process, the coating maintains its physical properties without material loss.
  • ( 05 )

    Low thermal expansion

This characteristic helps the coating maintain stability under high temperature conditions.
  • ( 06 )

    Easy application

The coating can be easily applied with short application time.
  • ( 07 )

    Easy repair and maintenance

Repair and maintenance also become easier when using this coating.
  • ( 08 )

    Short application time

The coating dries quickly, minimizing production downtime.
